The result
I am left with the damages below...
My left knee is definitely swollen. About 1.5 times? A large bruise is coming up on my right shin too. I am also sporting a small cut above my left eyebrow like a minor villain.
My right elbow. Badly bruised. It really stings.
And my neck. I think I've got a whiplash when I was thrown off from the bike. Also I have a large purple bruise on my right bum cheek. But I shall spare you the detail...
My poor Brompton can't fold itself properly because the front wheel is deformed. Sad to see the handle bar hanging limply...
As you can see here, the front wheel is bulging out. It doesn't even roll anymore.
The impact of the collision has completely displaced the front brake pad.
The impact also destroyed the both pedals too.
The wonky front wheel has a large scratch as well. This must have been done by the tarmac when the bike went under the cab.
Other minor damage is found on the both end of the grips and the brake levers.
Once I am crutches-free, I shall take my beloved Brompton to Bikefix and sort everything out. For someone like me who is usually hyperactive, being grounded like this really is a torture. I hate having to put my feet up. I am itching to do something or ANYTHING!! HELP!!!
